Will Spring Just Come Already?

I have to admit that I'm just completely tired of winter. It has been a LONG winter this year, and the month of February just about did us in! I'm so tired of the poor kiddos being sick ...

Meggan has the stomach flu again. She just had it last Sunday and was home Monday (although it wasn't really too bad of a bug or whatever) and then she ended up vomiting again this Sunday evening while we were at our friends' house. They said they didn't mind, but we still felt so bad!!! :) She seems to be on the mend, although we even kept her home today just to make sure she got a little extra rest and got her energy and immune system built back up to fight off the germs at school. We'll see ...

So far, so good for Jordan this go-round. He was home last week on Monday and Tuesday because he had followed right in Meggan's footsteps and vomited in the wee-morning hours of Monday. He seemed to have it a little worse than she did last week, so maybe he got the real thing and won't catch it again this time??? He doesn't seem to have picked it up this time (knock on wood). As for his ears, he seems to be doing just great! He doesn't mess with them at all, except when we put the drops in there. He doesn't seem to be much of a fan of that! He's a champ since his tubes have been put in, and we just can't seem to give him enough food (typical boy; right?). He's like a bottomless pit!!! :)

Other than that, not much to report here. Just trying to survive the end of winter and REALLY looking forward to the spring weather (hopefully soon)! I am hoping that will mean the end of some of Jordan's other stuff (daily steroid, breathing treatments, etc.), but we'll see what happens when that gets here. He has his 18-month doctor appointment scheduled for April 8, so we'll see what is in store once we talk to Dr. Gloyeske. I still have high hopes that maybe he won't have to do this stuff all through the other months too!

It's just hard to believe that before we know it Meggan will be turning 5 years old ... how the time truly does fly by! Jordan is already almost 1 1/2 years old, and that just doesn't seem possible either. How do our babies grow up so fast???

Don't have too many pictures from the last few days, but I will post a couple. Jordan was ADAMANT that he help us vacuum on Friday morning - he simply wouldn't give up. Then there are a couple of Meggan at her first swimming lesson on Saturday morning. Enjoy!
Jordan's vacuuming is pretty slow-going!
So Daddy decided to just have him "help" instead!
Just can't wait to get INTO the water!
Have to practice their kicks first (also known to most 4- or 5-year-olds as how high can we splash)!
