We are getting new flooring installed tomorrow! The excitement around here is hard to contain! We have been wanting to replace our linoleum in the kitchen for AT LEAST the last 2 years. It started pulling away by some of the counters and even has a complete seam that is pulled apart near our sliding glass door. It looks ridiculous and drives us crazy!
So we decided to take the leap and just do it! Good riddance to the stupid linoleum and the wearing-out carpet and also to having carpet in the bathrooms (who in the world does that?)! I promise I will post some pictures either tomorrow or Sunday of the progress and/or finished product.
Until then, pray that we can keep our sanity with our house in disarray... :)

Been there, done that. I pray that your contractors are efficient and for good weather so you can escape!
ReplyDeleteThey are already done!!! They started at 7:30 yesterday morning and left in the late afternoon and then came back at 8:00 this morning and were gone around 12:00 noon! It wasn't all that nice outside, but thankfully we have Dawn and Jer (my sister) just up the road. We just went there after hitting the YMCA for a workout yesterday morning and hung out with them for the day! Most importantly, Jordan was able to get a good nap in still, so all in all it was a fun day and an easy escape! :)
